I think of all the emotions we all go through on a daily basis, loneliness is the most taboo.
Depression was taboo for a while, but now its kind of considered cool to be depressed; people will talk to you about it. Stress has never really been taboo because if you are stressed then it obviously means that whatever it is that you do is very important, and as a result anyone who is stressed is obviously very happy to tell everyone about it. But loneliness……
Loneliness. It doesn’t matter if you have lots of friends or if you are married or if you have a family or whatever, I think a lot of people feel like they have nobody in their life who really understands them. I think a lot of people feel like this all the time, and yet nobody ever talks about it.
Tumblr makes me feel less alone.
